Thank you for your interest in working at Camp Victory Lake this summer. The CVL family is looking forward to another fun-filled and unforgettable camp season with new experiences, hard work and friends. We would like new and returning staff to complete the information in Camp Forms link and keep copies for yourself.

Please download a copy of the W-4 and I9, which must be completed, on or prior to your first day of work.  Please pay special attention to the last page of the document as it lists for you the acceptable documents that must be presented in person.  Please note that we must see ORIGINAL and UNEXPIRED documents in order to be in compliance. 

Provide any certification cards or certificates (special skills, sports, water front, CPR, etc) via email (campvictorlakenec@gmail.com).

  • I'm a college student and may not have the same address after the summer. What address should I use for my W-4?
    The address you need to put on your W-4 is the address you want your W-2 tax forms sent to next winter. If you are not sure where you will be living next winter, we suggest you use a parental address
  • Do staff have to have a medical checkup?
    Yes, all staff members must have a physical at least 11 months before coming to camp.
  • What are the terms for my work compensation?
    Summer camp employment is a missionary service. Work is compensated on a stipend status, not hourly wages.
  • Will I automatically be qualified for the Summer Ministries Scholarship?
    Summer Ministries Scholarships are awarded to employees on first-come first-serve basis and will be given at the Camp Directors discretion. Only a few scholarships are given each camp season.
  • Are the Staff background checked?
    All staff undergo a face to face/web cam or phone interview which lasts at least 40 minutes. As parents ourselves the caliber of our staff is of paramount importance. References are collected and all staff are entered into the NY State Sex Offender Registry Database. We also conduct an on line Nationwide Sex Offender Background Check. All International staff provide a criminal Background Check from their home country.
  • Where do Staff come from?
    Everywhere!!!! Many of our American Staff are from the local area but we also attract many staff members from out of state.
